![]() ![]() His mostly family friendly skins are on MTS, and the NSFW ones are on the uh, adult version of MTS. I like my sims to not look like corpses, thanks. I highly recommend looking up Navetsea on blogspot, a lot of really nice skins to choose from, both default and non-default. For example, I don't like ephemera's skins, while the rest of the simblr community seems to swear by them. Honestly, when dealing with skins a lot of it comes down simply to personal preference - what one person likes, another might hate. In checking ILTS' blog I also noticed a new skin, Candy Crush, which claims to be similar to Cake Face but smoother and more defined in the eyelids, but as my game's busted I've not gotten to test it out. It's quite realistic-looking and the colour sliders are lovely - I'm particularly fond of the one labelled "Honey", it makes for a nice darker-but-not-actually-black sort of tone. ![]() If you want something a little further towards realism, there's also Cake Face, which recieved an update a few months back that eliminated the scalp-seam issues the skin originally had. It's very matte, which I like a lot as I personally dislike the shiny effect some HD skins give. I use this mod to over ride the existing Sims 3 textures so I can get more realistic gameplay. All I can find is the non-default version. ![]() One is the 'Default' version Navetsea's Real 2 Skin. So, here's the ones I like.Īpple Cider Vinegar v2 by Noodlesims is quite simple and still keeps a somewhat cartoony look to the sims, but at the same time it gives them some definition. Since Microsoft deleted my files I've been hunting down the few mods I lost. I know you said HD and, for most people, that probably means photo-realism, but I personally think they can look seriously creepy.
